OVERVIEW

A hearty welcome to Social and Government Studies! We present the following subjects:

History and Ancient Culture, Political Studies, Social Anthropology as well as Public Management and Governance. The first four are social subjects that study people’s interrelations and actions within society from different angles. Public Management and Governance implies a management discipline that focuses on the making and implementing of public policy.

Students studying these subjects, are those who want to make a positive impact on a rapid changing society. Such students are eager to develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes to help them make that contribution. They acquire this training through the programmes of BA, BA Development and Management and B Social Sciences.

We appreciate your interest in the subjects and programmes of the School, and hereby invite you to explore and consider the courses on offer and then make your choice.
