Pheladi Fakude is a lecturer in the school of languages within the field of academic literacy domain at the NWU-Vaal. She has published three sole articles and one co-authored article in 2014 from her Masters Project. Her current research interests include bilingual reading, multilingualism in basic and higher education, reading eye movement and literacy development. She is currently working on a PhD project that focuses on bilingual reading (Sepedi and English) among university first year students and high school learners by using eye movement techniques to investigate reading behavior. The study is explored through the use of an eye-tracker by studying eye-movements of participants.
