What does an organisational media manager do?
Typically, students studying organisation media management are equipped to work in today's digital media and social media environment. Some become web, social media or community managers that are responsible for creating content and managing page activity across a variety of different platforms for corporate brands or for non-profits as part of their communication strategy. Some students choose to apply their skills and creativity in the more traditional desktop publishing (DTP) media environment by planning, implementing and managing an organisation's media campaigns and projects. As writing skills are a must in any working environment, students might also choose to work in corporate media, sourcing and writing news stories for in-house journals, as well as compiling, designing and managing such publications.
