Interested in learning music?

NWU School of Music, through Conservatory music lessons, offers practical music instruction to all interested individuals, including students, staff, school learners, adults, and retirees. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced player, we welcome you! Some instruments require no prior experience, though preference is given to advanced learners.

New applicants must complete an audition and/or aptitude test. Successful candidates will be provisionally accepted for one year. Conservatory students may have the opportunity to participate in the annual bursary competition and student concerts, pending lecturer approval.
