The former Director of the NWU School of Music, Prof Karendra Devroop, established a wind ensemble at Die Wilge High School in Potchefstroom in September 2012 as part of his South African Music Outreach Project.

The School of Music continues this involvement by providing free bi-weekly music instruction to members of the wind ensemble. For further information about this project, please contact Mr George Fazakas.
