
You are invited to submit an abstract for the international Spring School. The abstract needs to fall within the general theme.
Submissions may not have been presented or submitted for presentation elsewhere.
All abstracts should be in English. Abstracts will be published in the “Book of Abstracts” with the final programme.
Submission Process
Only those abstracts submitted on the prescribed form will be considered. Abstract submission closes on 26 June 2026.
Submitted abstracts will undergo a peer review process, and authors will be notified of the outcome by 31 July 2026. Please send your abstract to Mrs Zama Chaacha at fhumspringweek@gmail.com. The email subject heading must include the following: FHUM_Spring School_Abstract_Name and Surname. The format in which the abstract should be submitted can be found in the ABSTRACT SUBMISSION FORM.
Acknowledgement of Receipt of Abstracts
Within five working days of successful abstract submission, an e-mail will be sent to the presenting author(s) to acknowledge receipt. The author(s) will also be provided with an abstract number that should be quoted in all further correspondence.

****Please note:
Attendance is not dependent on abstract acceptance. Academics and higher degree students who want to attend the Spring School to learn, network and interact with each other, as well as the expert presenters, are very welcome. However, registration is obligatory.
