
The Faculty of Humanities at the North-West University, South Africa,is pleased to announce its third international Spring School. The third international Spring School is organised by the Faculty of Humanities of North-West University. The Spring School will be hosted from 28 September to 2 October 2026 at Khaya iBhubesi Conference Centre (12 Kopjeskraal Rd, Die Eiland, Parys, 9585).
Conference theme:
“Humanising a Fractured World: Intersections of Identity, Digital Humanities, and Geopolitics”
The aim of the international Spring School is to bring together higher degree students, study leaders and researchers fromndifferent study fields in the humanities to learn and converse about the Humanities in a fractured world, specifically focusing on identity, digital humanities and geopolitics. This week will provide opportunities to meet with renowned and expert researchers, attend workshops/seminars, but also presenting your own current and completed research. More importantly, a goal of this week is to have ample opportunities for networking, as well as constructive and critical discussions.
Keynote Topics

- Identity and Diversity
- Digital Humanities
- Geopolitics
