There are also opportunities for paper and poster presentations, as well as an art work exhibition

Face-to-face paper presentations:

The length of the paper presentations must not be more than 15 minutes. After the presentation, 10 minutes discussion time will be allowed.

Poster presentations:

Design the poster so that it is easy to read and include some visuals or charts. At the top of the poster the title and authors’ names and affiliations must be indicated.  The poster size should be A1 international paper size in portrait format. Please do not use foam core or any thick or multi-layered materials directly on the poster boards. Also make sure that the poster can be posted on the boards.

Art work exhibitions:

The research niche, Visual Narratives and Creative Outputs (ViNCO), invites emerging artists to submit original artworks for the My digital Print interactive art installation.

Submissions open 16 June 2024 and close 16 August 2024

Entry requirements

  • Artworks should be A6 or postcard size (105 x 148mm)
    Include the artist’s details (name and surname, mobile number, email address, return address)
  • Artist’s statement (+- 100 words) must accompany the artwork

How to submit the artworks:

Artworks can be dropped off at: Vanderbijlpark: NWU Library front desk. Mahikeng: NWU Campus, Office 212, Block B, 2nd Floor, Building A3; Potchefstroom: Building F2, reception desk.

Or mailed to: Building F2, North-West University, 11 Hoffman Street, Potchefstroom, 2531. For attention: ViNCO
