Applicants who have passed the first round of auditions will be invited for a second round of selection at the Conservatory in Potchefstroom on 17 or 24 August 2024 that will include the following selection tests for the respective undergraduate programmes:
Diploma in Music
- Live performance of the video audition
- Musical aptitude test
- English language proficiency test
- Music theory test (for applicants with prior music theory knowledge)
BA Music & Society
- Live performance of the video audition
- Music theory test on Grade 2 standard
- English language proficiency test
BMus
- Live performance of the video audition
- Music theory test on Grade 5 standard
- English language proficiency test
- Written essay
